NatalieMaines_Columbia_900x675After a supposedly mutual break-up, the girls from Dixie Chicks all went their separate ways and left the Country world wondering who would take their place. I don’t know if anyone has, but the lead singer from the band is now going solo. Her new album, “Mother,” titled after her cover of the Pink Floyd classic, is full of amazing tracks that have all the same attitude we have been missing since the band broke up.

The best song by a landslide is the first track, “Without You.” The video is not going to blow you away but the song is beautiful. Also, Maines looks amazing with her dark brown hair and bad-ass hair cut!

I freaking love Natalie Maines. I have loved her ever since Earl’s Gotta Die! She is cray!
