When we last tuned into Ryan Murphy’s super-scary-sexy American Horror Story, those Los Angeles “Murder House” residents, the Harmon Family, were, sadly, dead.
Ah, don’t fret, Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott: Britton’s already alive again on Nashville, and McDermott’s naked butt will happily haunt viewers forever. In the meantime, Jessica Lange’s Constance Langdon’s character had not only been left raising Hell (her child appeared to be the son of Satan), but she was so busy chewing the scenery that the Emmy and Golden Globe awards were as deserved as she is still hauntingly beautiful.
They’re baaaaaack! Well, kind of. Wednesday night, October 17, at 10 p.m., the FX series makes its much-anticipated Season Two premiere with a neck twist: The show has a new storyline (called “Asylum,” it takes place at a cheery mental institution), and a new cast of characters played by—Holy Horror!—some of the original actors. Lang portrays Sister Jude and Zachary Quinto plays Dr. Thredson, who are joined by such newcomers as Joseph Fiennes, Chloe Sevigny, and Adam Levine (um, can we share a straightjacket with this guy!).
Tune in, turn the lights out, and get ready to go crazy. This show is sick!
This won’t hurt a bit…the first five minutes of AHS here!
